WILL

A ‘Will’ or a ‘Testament’ is a legal declaration of how a person wishes his possessions to be disposed of after his death. Any person over the age of majority and of sound mind, can will his property which he wishes to be carried into effect after his death.

Section 2(h) of Indian Succession Act, 1925 describes ‘Will’ as the legal declaration of the intention of a testator with respect to his property which he desires to be carried into effect after his death.
